blogdown의 대안을 찾아서

blogdown은 꽤 오랫동안 사용한 블로그 패키지다. 여전히 좋은 패키지라고 생각한다. blogdown 또한 rstudio에서 관리하며, 최근 버전 1.0.0 을 출시했다.

대안이 필요한 이유는 blogdown 자체의 문제만은 아니지만, 여전히 문제다.

  1. 한글 윈도우 rstudio 에서 빌드시 경로 문제가 발생할 때가 있다.
  2. 캐쉬 동작을 이해하지 못해서 빌드 결과가 다르다.
  3. rstudio가 글 작성 도구로써 매우 좋다고 할 수 없다.

rstudio가 글 작성 도구로써 매우 좋다고 할 수 없는 이유는, 우선 매우 무겁기 때문이다. 오죽하면 Rmd 전용 글 작성 도구만 따로 만들까 고민하던 적이 있기도 하다.(지금도 유효하다.)

distill 소개

distill 은 rstudio 의 패키지로 동명의 논문 사이트인 distill의 출력 포멧을 기준으로 만든 블로그 패키지다.

Distill for R Markdown is based on the Distill web framework, which was originally created for use in the Distill Machine Learning Journal. Distill for R Markdown combines the technical authoring features of Distill with R Markdown, enabling a fully reproducible workflow based on literate programming.

패키지에서 소개하는 강점은 아래와 같다.

사용하면서 느낀 장점은 많은 표준 도구를 도입하여 편리하다.

댓글, google analytic 붙이기, 쿠키 허용 팝업, 라이선스 명시가 설정으로 해결된다. 아주아주아주아주 좋았다.

아직 해결해야 하는 건 에드센스 붙이는거다. 얼마 되지도 않는 광고 수입이 들어오지도 않고 있는 상태다.
